1. Knee-to-Chest Stretch

This exercise is excellent for stretching the lower back and aligning the pelvis. Start by lying on your back with both knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Slowly bring one knee up to your chest, using both hands to gently pull it closer. Hold for five seconds before releasing and repeating with the other leg.

2. Pelvic Tilts

Pelvic tilts help strengthen your abdominal muscles and stretch your lower back. Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Tighten your stomach muscles, pushing your lower back into the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds before releasing.

3. Child's Pose

A popular yoga pose, the child's pose is great for stretching your spine, glutes, and hamstrings. Start by sitting on your heels with your knees hip-width apart. Lean forward until your forehead touches the ground, extending your arms in front of you. Stay in this position for a few seconds, then return to the starting position.

4. Cat-Cow Stretch

This exercise is perfect for improving spinal flexibility and relieving tension in your lower back. Begin on all fours, ensuring your hands are directly under your shoulders and your knees are under your hips. Arch your back upwards (like a cat) and hold for a few seconds, then dip your stomach towards the floor while lifting your chest and head (like a cow). Repeat this sequence several times to give your spine a nice stretch.

5. Back Flexion Stretch

The back flexion stretch is a fantastic way to stretch your entire spine. Begin by lying on your back. Pull both knees to your chest while simultaneously flexing your head forward until you feel a comfortable stretch in a rounded-back position.
